My company is afraid of the Internet.
Bill Gates, Microsoft CEO, once said that he would soon be two types of companies are online, and they go bankrupt. These words ring true today, and many small businesses lack a big boat can not go online. Many of the small businesses have been around for a while, long before the same banner ads and e-mail was so wildly popular. These owners have built their business from the ground up, work hard and long to develop their products and services. These owners see great value in work, and should be applauded.
As technology increases, the hard work is changing the ways. Today, all companies, of a guardian to a manufacturer of widgets must have a website. An estimated 60% of U.S. households now have broadband, and almost 90% have at least one computer. These figures can not be ignored by business owners and marketing. People flock to the Internet to find phone numbers, local businesses, and new friends. (more…)
