Not Easy to Apply E-commerce

I just created an e-commerce site. It was a lot more work than I expected. Why I say this? I think I came in the wrong perspective. I thought naively that I could put an off-the-store shelf in place, fill it with goods and products, and sit a flood watch orders in. Wrong! So wrong!

If I had to do the same thing (as I expect, actually) I’ll start from some guiding principles.
First, decide what I want to sell, and who – What is the product and at what age or style of the person I sell? Then find the layout of the site with this in mind. Instead of trying to do everything yourself, I would have to recruit and pay someone else to help. The task would be much faster and more efficient – I could take and then do something else. (more…)
